About Sabi as

Choreographer

Sabi Sabani’s journey as a choreographer began in 2012 when he was invited by EF Language Trips to Malta as a blogger.

The offer included a chance to dance and share his experience in exchange for the trip. During this time, Sabi realized that dance, a passion close to his heart, was the path he wanted to pursue. Upon returning to Sweden, he set his sights on turning his dream into reality.

Early Years and Breakthrough in Dance

Sabi quickly landed a job at Dance Factory, founded by Alexander Svanberg, the Swedish winner of Dancing with the Stars. It was here that Sabi taught his first dance classes, and his talent didn’t go unnoticed. Soon, he was receiving offers to work as a choreographer and dancer for both Swedish and international artists.

Expanding Horizons with Major Artists and Music Videos

For 13 years, Sabi taught various dance styles at Adrianas Danhus in Gothenburg. It was during this time that he was discovered by the artist JOY, for whom he became the choreographer when she made her breakthrough performance at P3 Guld on SVT. Sabi also had the opportunity to choreograph the music video for global star Kesha’s song ”Blow,” in collaboration with EF Language Trips.

Musicals and Large-Scale Productions

As Sabi’s career grew, he was given the chance to direct, produce, and choreograph several musicals in Sweden. He obtained the rights to produce Broadway hits such as the rock musical RENT and Hairspray. Additionally, he wrote and created his own musicals, including the Michael Jackson tribute show Beat It and Aim for the Top, to name just a few.

Rising Star in Event Production

Sabi’s talents caught the attention of one of Sweden’s largest event companies, Nordic Events, which hired him as their creative director at the age of just 16. With this role, Sabi had the opportunity to organize grand events in venues such as Scandinavium and Ullevi in Gothenburg.

Current Role and Dance at a Slower Pace

Today, Sabi continues his dance career, but at a slower pace to balance his responsibilities as a marketing chief. Despite his busy schedule, he still teaches dance and now offers classes at Endorfin in Alingsås, where students can learn from the seasoned choreographer himself.
